Welcome to Safeti’s online DSE (Display Screen Equipment) Training Video, hosted by Richard Collins CMIOSH.
Display Screen Equipment (DSE) issues rarely start suddenly. For office-based and remote desk workers, they build up gradually through posture, habits, and long periods at a workstation.
In this video, we cover:
what DSE risk actually means
why discomfort builds over time
small adjustments that make a difference
and shared responsibility in managing risk
Practical awareness for office, hybrid, and remote workers.
This video provides a clear and practical introduction to Display Screen Equipment (DSE) awareness. It explains how discomfort and strain build gradually over time, the common risk factors linked to workstation setup and work habits, and the small adjustments that can make a significant difference. Suitable for office, hybrid, and operational support roles, the session focuses on prevention, shared responsibility, and realistic improvements rather than perfect posture or complex theory.
